High Power to Talk Longer

The IC-2300H, 144 MHz mobile, retains the same basic features from the popular IC-2200H; powerful 65W output power, simple-to-use user interface, built-in CTCSS and DTCS encoder/decoder, etc. While keeping those basic features, the IC-2300H is packed in to a smaller body (in depth) than the IC-2200H.

Output Power:

  65W, 25W, 10W, 5W

RX Frequencies:

  136-174 MHz

Memory Channels:

  207 (includes 6 scan edges & 1 call)

Simple Operation

Panel Layout

The IC-2300H’s basic panel layout includes a simple user interface. A large LCD with 6 alphanumeric characters offers a good viewing angle for mobile operation. Select either the amber, yellow or green backlight color. The bottom of the display indicates the available front panel functions.

Built Tough

Rough roads won’t stop the IC-2300H from working. This mobile has been tested to and has passed the latest MIL-STD 810 G specifications including shock, vibration and temperature tests. The rugged aluminum diecast chassis provides effective heat dissipation and keeps RF output even during high duty cycle continuous transmission.

Multiple Scan Functions

The IC-2300H supports various scan types for maximum reception to suit your needs. The DMS (Dynamic Memory Scan) system allows you to scan selected banks from 10 memory banks by simply adding and deleting bank links.

The ICOM IC-2300H 2 Meter FM Mobile shows a rugged design with large displayed Alpha-Numeric Characters in it's display screen. Colors can be set to green, yellow or amber. The receiver covers 136-174 MHz and the transmitter delivers 65, 25, 10 or 5 watts of output. The improved receive IMD helps provide protection from excessively strong signals such as pager signals. And the squelch attenuator (approx 10 dB) allows you to reduce interference from strong nearby signals. A winning combination for receive performance. The front face panel has an oversized tuning dial is easy to grab while on the move and the large 4-level backlit display clearly provides key information at a glance. Memory channels can be assigned names for easy recognition and easy access. The IC-2300H supports three different scan modes:  Full Scan, Memory Scan, Programmed Scan and four scan resume conditions.

Other features include:  207 memories, alphanumeric notes, 3-way priority watch and independently programmable Rx/Tx and tone squelch. There is an external speaker jack on the rear panel. The IC-2300H is built rugged and has a convenient front mounted mic jack. The supplied HM133-V remote controlled mic controls everything in the palm of your hand. Icom's exclusive Hot Keys lets you program the features that you use the most. The bigger backlit keys allow you to operate in low light conditions. Requires 13.8 VDC at 11 Amps. A mobile mounting bracket, OPC-1132 power cord and mic hanger are also supplied. Size:  5.51 x 1.6 x 6.4 inches 2.43 lbs. (140x40x162mm 1.1 kg).
