Great PL-259 connector for most ( 0.40") coaxial cable , are Nickel  Plated with a center pin Brass Zinc-Nickel plated. The Brown insulator is solid Bakelite, not some easy to melt white plastic..These great connectors can also be used with some smaller coax , like RG-58 with our optional reducer we sell.
